John Zakrzewski, PT, OCS, CMTPT

Clinic Director, Physical Therapist, Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist


John Zakrzewski is a licensed physical therapist with over 25 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. He completed his education at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 1993.

Before joining Mountain Land in 2005, John worked as a physical therapist in the Billings area since 1998. In 2004,

John received his certification in spinal manipulation following a fellowship with the Manual Therapy Program in Denver, Colorado. In 2012, John became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. He gained additional knowledge and training for Human Performance advancement for people undergoing cancer treatment and those with respiratory dysfunctions. John has received specialized instruction in dry needling from multiple education programs and was the first in Billings, Montana to offer dry needling to his clients to help improve their health.

John’s personal approach to patient care is to give the best quality treatment through personal, individualized pathology identification.

Kensey Mikkelsen, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist


Kensey Mikkelsen received a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance/exercise science along with a certificate in business from Montana State University in 2017. She went on to earn a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Montana. Kensey is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician.

Kensey specializes in orthopedics and functional strength training and has experience in treating patients with cardiovascular and degenerative neurological conditions and those with complex medical needs. Her treatment interventions are evidence based and patients can expect a well-rounded treatment plan that encompasses a patient’s biology, mental health and social factors. She believes that the body is strong and resilient and she is passionate about helping people realize what they are capable of so that they can get back to living their life.

When not in the clinic, Kensey enjoys downhill skiing, playing basketball and volleyball, jet skiing, paddle boarding, hiking with her dogs, working on the family ranch, and spending time with her niece and nephew.

Kenna Malcom, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist


Kenna Malcom earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, Florida in 2021.

Kenna specializes in manual therapy including mobilization and manipulation of the spine and extremities. An athlete herself, Kenna is passionate about injury prevention. She takes a holistic approach in treating the whole person, rather than just the injury. She strives to give her patients the tools they will need to heal and get back to doing the things they love.

When not in the clinic, Kenna enjoys staying active outside hiking and camping. She also loves to curl up with a good book.

Theresa R. Henry, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant


Theresa R. Henry earned her associate’s degree in general studies with an emphasis in medical sciences from Montana State University in 2017. She went on to earn an associate of applied science physical therapist assistant degree from Great Falls College Montana State University in 2019. Theresa is certified in Pelvic Floor Muscle Training and Incontinence Care in Geriatrics.

Theresa specializes in cardiopulmonary and post-stroke rehabilitation, pelvic health and incontinence therapy, and balance and movement rehabilitation in Parkinson’s disease. She takes a holistic approach in treating her patients by creating individualized treatment plans that heal the whole person and help them get back to doing the activities they enjoy.

In her free time, Theresa enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, trying new restaurants with her husband and spending time with her six children.
