We are proud to share that Howard Quackenbush II, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS has been nominated by APTA Utah for the APTA Leadership Policy Maker Award. This nomination recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, advocacy, and commitment to advancing physical therapy through policy and innovation. Howard has embodied these qualifications through his substantial contributions to the successful passage of Utah’s Bill 196, a landmark achievement that recognized physical therapy as primary care. Being nominated for this award is a meaningful acknowledgment of Howard’s dedication to improving healthcare systems and supporting the physical therapy profession beyond the clinic.

Howard’s work reflects the values at the heart of physical therapy advocating for patients, strengthening access to care, and helping shape policies that support quality outcomes. This nomination highlights the impact one professional can have at both the state and national level. We are honored to have Howard as part of our team and grateful for the leadership and passion he brings to our organization and the physical therapy community.
