What you can expect at your first visit
Check-in and insurance support
When you arrive at Mountain Land Physical Therapy Partners, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly front office staff. They’ll help you check in and navigate insurance and scheduling so you can focus on your recovery.
One-on-one evaluation with your physical therapist
You’ll then meet with your physical therapist for an initial evaluation. During this visit, your therapist will ask about your medical history, current pain or injury and assess your movement, strength, coordination, and more. Open communication is important, so please let your therapist know if anything feels uncomfortable or painful during the exam.
Your personalized treatment plan
Based on the evaluation, your therapist will recommend a personalized treatment plan designed to support efficient recovery and long-term results. These recommendations will be reviewed with you, and you’ll start exercises or treatment during your first visit.
Allow extra time for your first appointment
Because your initial visit includes a full evaluation and treatment planning, please allow extra time. Before you leave, you’ll schedule your follow-up visits with our front desk team. We offer a variety of appointment times, though prime slots may fill quickly.
Communication with your provider
Your therapist will document their findings and treatment plan to share with your referring provider or another medical professional of your choice.
If you have questions at any time, please don’t hesitate to call. Our goal is your comfort, confidence, and full recovery.
