Gain hands-on experience from nationally recognized Physical Therapists,
while learning do's and dont's for getting accepted into PT school
What is Pre-PT Pathway?
An online and in-person course that involves paid clinical hours working as a PT Tech or Office Coordinator in one of Mountain Land’s 40+ outpatient clinics, and roughly 30 hours of informative videos from our therapists discussing the following topics to get you into PT school:
- Resume Building
- Writing Personal Statement
- Letters of Recommendation
- Admission Interview Prep
- Financial Prep
- Ethics in PT
- Advocating for the PT Profession
- PT Writing and Documentation
- Social Success in PT School
- Prioritizing
Is the Pre-PT Pathway right for me?
If you check yes for the following, then you should apply!
- Are you interested in the medical field?
- Are you available for at least 10 hours per week on average?
- Are you able to be in-person at one of our clinics weekly for at least 3 months?
What's in it for me?
- $3,000 scholarship for graduates of the Pathway who spend 800 hours as an MLPT employee ($1,500 scholarship for PTA school)
- $10-$11 for every hour you spend in a Mountain Land clinic as a PT Tech
- $14-$17 for every hour you spend in a Mountain Land clinic as a Front Office Coordinator (Full-time required)
- $5,000 sign on bonus if you are hired back at Mountain Land as your first PT job after DPT school ($1,500 for PTA's)
- Better prepared to apply to PT school. Our goal is that 100% of participants will be prepared to apply to PT school after completing the Pathway
