Gain hands-on experience while you prepare for PT school

Work paid clinical hours alongside nationally recognized physical therapists, and learn the do’s and don’ts of getting accepted into PT school.

What is the Pre-PT Pathway?

An online and in-person course that involves paid clinical hours working as a PT Tech or Office Coordinator in one of Mountain Land’s outpatient clinics across Utah, Idaho, and Montana, plus roughly 30 hours of informative videos from our therapists covering the topics below.

What’s in it for you

The Pathway pays you while you build the experience PT schools are looking for.

$3,000 scholarship

Graduates of the Pathway who complete 800 hours as a Mountain Land employee are eligible for a $3,000 scholarship, or $1,500 toward PTA school.

$5,000 sign-on bonus

Come back to Mountain Land for your first PT job after DPT school and receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus, or $1,500 for PTAs.

Paid clinical hours

Earn $10 to $11 per hour as a PT Tech, or $14 to $17 per hour as a full-time Front Office Coordinator, while you build the clinical hours PT schools look for.

Prepared to apply

Our goal is that 100% of participants finish the Pathway ready to apply to PT school.

How the Pathway works

Apply

Fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Mountain Land’s HR team will reach out and guide you from there.

Get placed

We match you with a clinic near you as a PT Tech or Front Office Coordinator.

Work and learn

Earn paid clinical hours in the clinic while you work through roughly 30 hours of coursework from our therapists.

Apply to PT school

Finish the Pathway prepared to apply, and eligible for the scholarship and sign-on bonus.
