The Mountain Land Physical Therapy Sun River Clinic is conveniently located in the center of the Sun River community to offer physical therapy close to home. Our goal is to help our patients get back to a healthy and active lifestyle in a timely manner. We are proud to offer specialized treatments that include our Neuromuscular Training Program, stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord and nerve damage rehabilitation, and Occupational Therapy.

Dane Burningham, Physical Therapist
Dane Burningham, PT, DPT

Clinic Director, Physical Therapist


Dane earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, and went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health professions in 2016. Dane specializes in treating pain from head to toe with a special interest in orthopedics, including shoulder and knee rehabilitation.

Dane believes in focusing on each patient as an individual and treating their needs with a tailored plan designed to best help their specific needs. Dane utilizes a hands-on approach to therapy. He has seen through experience how powerful manual therapy can be in the recovery process, and he prides himself in being able to provide this technique at a high-level to help his patients get back to doing the things they enjoy.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dane enjoys spending time with family. They particularly enjoy living in Southern Utah where they can spend time together outside all year long. He also enjoys golf, tennis, drone flying, and boating.

Nicole Schneider, Physical Therapist
Nicole Schneider, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist


Nicole joined the Mountain Land team in 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Nutrition from Idaho State University in 1998. In 2002, she received a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2008.

Nicole has a special interest in a variety of therapy techniques including Dry Needling, Women’s Health, and Sports Injuries. As a Physical Therapist, Nicole believes that a positive environment is crucial to healing. Nicole takes a personalized approach with her patients, basing her therapy plan on each patient’s personal needs and goals to help them get back to doing the things they love.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys hiking, biking, running and watching her three children play sports.

Justin Walker, Physical Therapist
Justin Walker, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist


Justin received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from BYU and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.

Justin specializes in helping patients recognize and find joy in the small victories in therapy that ultimately lead to their larger goals. Justin believes in finding a patient’s “why” and helping them understand the purpose of their treatment to achieve optimal progress. Growing up as an athlete, Justin has a passion for advocating for active healthy lifestyles and helping others, which inspired him to enter the field of physical therapy.

In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, going on ATV rides, horseback riding, watching movies, spending time with his family, and reading.

Tyler Hardy, Physical Therapist Assistant
Tyler Hardy, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant


Tyler Hardy earned his associate of applied science physical therapist assistant degree from Flathead Valley College in Kalispell, MT in 2020. He is also a Certified Performance Specialist.

Tyler specializes in orthopedics, sports performance and blood flow restriction therapy. Growing up playing sports, he knows the importance of physical therapy. His philosophy is to approach each treatment with an open mind and to listen to each patient and learn of their needs and concerns. By creating personalized treatment plans for each patient, Tyler is passionate about helping them reach their goals and live a healthy lifestyle.

When not in the clinic, Tyler likes to hike, fish, go 4-wheeling and spending time at the gym as well as at his cabin in Duck Creek. He is also a Utah Jazz and Las Vegas Raiders fan and loves attending basketball and football games.

Allie Manning graduated from Dixie State University, St. George, Utah in 2021 with an Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in health administration.

Allie specializes in orthopedics and working with neurological patients. A dancer from the age of 3, Allie knows first-hand the importance of having a physical therapist who is supportive. Her treatment philosophy is simple: listen to each patient and make each visit as enjoyable as possible. Allie is passionate about education and giving her patients tools they need to live a healthy lifestyle.

When not in the clinic, Allie enjoys ballet, jazz and contemporary dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Physical Therapist Assistant


Jeff Kohler earned his associate of applied science physical therapist assistant degree from Dixie State University, Saint George, Utah in 2021.

Jeff specializes in manual therapy. He is a firm believer in the healing power of therapy and is passionate about helping each one of his patients along on their journey of recovery. After experiencing an accident that required physical therapy, Jeff knows first-hand the benefits of therapy and hopes to help others heal and get back to doing the activities they enjoy.

When not in the clinic, Jeff enjoys woodworking, hiking, fishing, camping and spending as much as he can outdoors with family and friends.

Lara Jackson, Physical Therapist Assistant
Lara Jackson, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant


Lara graduated from California State University Stanislaus with a Bachelors in Psychology in 2005. She counseled children in a group home and grief center who had lost a sibling or parent. After moving, Lara found a new career path at Dixie where I received my Applied Associate in Physical Therapy in 2022.
She holds continuing education credentials in women’s health and concussion management.

Lara works hard to help her patients feel heard and understood with their goals with physical therapy. Lara strives to empower her patients and support them with the best techniques possible to help them reach their physical therapy objectives. Lara and her family have lived in St. George since 2016 and can’t imagine living and working anywhere since.

With over 12,000 movies watched, Lara and her husband are big film buffs. Lara also judges scripts at film festivals and helps host and pick movies for local film events. Lara also enjoys taking hikes and spending time at Disneyland with her family.

Jamie Crosier, Massage Therapist
Jaymie Crosier, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist


Jaymi graduated in July 2021 with her license to practice Massage Therapy after apprenticing through the state of Utah under an instructor. Jaymi specializes in deep tissue, myofascial release, and lymphatic massage.

For Jaymi, no massage is the same. Jaymi strives to listen to each client’s needs and concerns to best fix and adjust them. Jaymi loves to share her work with others, as massage work has been very beneficial in her own life.

Jaymi loves being active and doing things outdoors such as fishing with her dad, hiking with her dogs, and kayaking with her family. Jaymi is also a dancer and continues to teach a few classes.
