Adaptive Ski Day
Mountain Land Charities and Neuroworx have teamed up to provide those suffering from a life-altering injury to participate in one of the summer season’s favorite past times; water skiing. Mountain Land’s Adaptive Ski Days allows those individuals living with a physical disability to safely enjoy a day out on the lake. Using adaptive skis that are customizable to fit guests’ individual needs and a support team that consists of drivers, spotters, swimmers, and licensed physical therapists we provide skiers with the safest possible experience.
Adaptive Ski day provides individuals with varying abilities the opportunities to grow in confidence as they experience success on the water, which translates to even greater successes in each of their lives. We believe providing this opportunity will create an enhanced quality of life, improved health, increased social involvement, and an expanded vision of what is possible.
Middle East Wheel Chair Program
Mountain Land Charities partners with the humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to provide aid, support, and fitment of wheelchairs to those in need in many Middle Eastern Countries. The recipients of these wheelchairs have seen their lives change as they see their mobility, employability, and independence increase.
