Steven earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Southern Utah University (SUU) in 2018, and went on to graduate with a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2020 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Steven has been a part of the Mountain Land Team since 2015, first working as a Therapy Tech before returning to school to earn his doctorate degree and complete his Athletic Trainer certification.

Specializing in general orthopedics, Steven has experience in sports medicine, joint replacement, and treating low back pain. He has worked with all types of patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. As a certified athletic trainer and active in sports since a young age, Steven knows first-hand the benefits of physical therapy. He is passionate about working together with his patients and giving them the tools to reach their goals so they can get back to doing what they love. Steven is also fluent in Spanish.

When not in the clinic, Steven enjoys hiking, fishing, camping as well as playing basketball, pickleball, and golf. But most of all, he loves spending as much time as he can with his family and friends.

Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer


Jaime Hammons earned her doctorate at the University of Central Arkansas in 2015. Jaime has experience in sports and fitness-related injuries, is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer, has obtained a Level 1 Pelvic Floor certification, and has taken the Herman and Wallace certifications 1 and 2B.

As an active participant in various sports, Jaime knows firsthand the importance of physical therapy. Jaime educates her patients that just because an injury may be common does not mean it has to be normal. Jaime is devoted to teaching her patients that they should never limit their goals of living a happy healthy lifestyle.

When not in the clinic, you can find Jaime soaking up the sunshine through various outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, pickleball, and paddleboarding.

Mindy Butterfield, Physical Therapist Assistant
Mindy Butterfield, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant


Mindy graduated from Salt Lake Community College as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2009 and has been practicing ever since. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Utah in 2020.

Mindy specializes in outpatient orthopedics. She strives to make each patient feel comfortable and important while she treats his or her specific and individual needs. Mindy is passionate about helping others heal and feel better while witnessing them get back to doing what they love.

When not in the clinic, Mindy enjoys spending time outside and spending time playing with her kids.
