Jared H. Smith, PT, DPT
Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
Jared H. Smith received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He went on to earn his doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Utah.
Specializing in orthopedics, Jared is passionate about treating the person as a whole, not just the injury, through individualized treatment plans. Active in sports throughout high school and college, Jared knows firsthand the benefits of physical therapy. He strives to help each of his patients heal and regain their independence so they can get back to doing what they enjoy and live pain-free.
When not in the clinic, Jared enjoys going on walks, visiting the zoo with his wife and two children, and spending as much time as he can being active. He is also an avid sports fan, especially college football, and is a big supporter of the Utah Jazz.
Clair Kean, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Clair Kean received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Arizona State University along with minors in biological and anthropological sciences. She went on to earn her doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
Clair specializes in treating patients with amputations and their associated orthopedic and neurological impairments. She has advanced gait training for above and below knee amputees and is a certified adaptive and inclusive trainer. Clair has also published articles and spoken at national conferences regarding physical therapy for patients with amputations. She is passionate about building strong relationships with each of her patients and providing individualized treatment plans geared towards their personal goals.
Outside of the clinic, Clair enjoys skiing, hiking, running, kayaking, and spending time outdoors. She is certified in outdoor emergency care which she utilizes when volunteering as a ski patroller. She also volunteers with her certified therapy dog, Moby, visiting individuals in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and at conferences for people with amputations.
