Sarah Thomsen, PT, DPT, GCS
Physical Therapist, Board Certified Geriatric Specialist
Sarah Thomsen earned a doctorate degree in physical therapy from St. Ambrose University, Davenport, IA in 2017. She completed a geriatric residency in 2018 through the University of Minnesota and became a Certified Geriatric Specialist in 2019.
Sarah specializes in geriatric and pelvic floor physical therapy. She has a passion to empower patients to learn how their bodies work and how to function better. She strives to make every patient feel comfortable during physical therapy and believes in focusing on the whole patient and not just the impairments. She believes that everyone should have a chance to feel better and get back to doing what they love. Sarah’s treatment philosophy: movement is the key. By encouraging her patients to move, they can heal and get back to doing what they enjoy.
When not in the clinic, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband dirt biking on a single track or taking their dog, Nala, on hikes in the mountains. She also loves learning new hobbies, meeting new people, and making memories with the people she loves.
