Every fall, Park City, Utah, becomes a gathering point for clinicians, coaches, and researchers passionate about running. And 2025? It’s not just any year it marks the 10th anniversary of the Mountain Land Running Summit. If you’re a physical therapist, athletic trainer, coach, or clinician involved with runners, this is your summit.

Held September 25–27, 2025, at the Sheraton Park City, this summit delivers the perfect mix of continuing education, hands-on training, and meaningful networking set against the stunning backdrop of Utah’s autumn mountains.

CEUs That Actually Boost Your Practice

Sure, everyone needs CEUs but how many actually help you hone your craft? The Running Summit offers up to 13 CEUs, accredited by the Utah Physical Therapy Association and approved by the Board of Certification for athletic trainers Summit MLPT.

Here’s what sets it apart:

  • Thursday Pre-Conference Labs (3 CEUs): Choose between a hands-on MSK ultrasound workshop or a running mechanics & gait retraining lab. These labs focus on real skills you’ll use in your clinic the next day.

This isn’t checkbox CE this is CE that improves your skills and your patients’ outcomes.

Meet the Full Lineup of 2025 Speakers

2025 brings together a powerhouse of experts across biomechanics, clinical care, performance science, and nutrition. You’ll have direct access to insights from:

  • Bryan Heiderscheit, PT, PhD, FAPTA – University of Wisconsin–Madison

  • Lindsay Crevoiserat, MS – Wisconsin Athletics

  • Andrew Creer, PhD – Utah Valley University

These experts represent the cutting edge from performance tech and Olympic-level rehab to biomechanics, imaging, and athlete wellness. And because the event is intentionally intimate, you’ll walk away having connected meaningfully with these leaders.

Agenda:

  • Thursday, Sept 25 (Pre-Conference):
✓ Hands-on MSK Ultrasound Lab or Video Gait Analysis & Gait Retraining Workshop, each offering real-time practice and 3 CEUs.

  • Friday, Sept 26 (Main Conference):
Packed yet balanced from lectures on sleep, tendon rehab, footwear tech, and performance models to a group panel designed to inspire and inform over a full day.

  • Saturday, Sept 27 (Main Conference):
A shorter, still impactful day covering hamstring rehab, Paralympic athlete adaptation, caffeine & performance, plus an “Ask the Experts” session and breakout labs.

It’s the perfect combo of learning, interaction, and energy without leaving you feeling overwhelmed.

Why the 10-Year Summit Outshines All Previous Editions

This year’s summit is a celebration, and it delivers on multiple fronts:

  1. Milestone Momentum. Ten years of growth brings a community that is both experienced and energized.

  2. More Applied Learning. The expanded pre-conference labs give clinicians real, tactile instruction and confidence to implement what they learn.

  3. Wider Scope, Deeper Insights. From Olympic-level rehab and gait analysis to footwear innovation and athlete nutrition, the 2025 agenda expands the view beyond injury prevention to performance optimization.

  4. Utah Vibes. Park City in the fall? Gold aspens, crisp air, mountain views. And with everything from sessions to meals steps from your room at the Sheraton, learning feels effortless.

  5. Community Over Crowd. Unlike mega-conferences, the Running Summit keeps it personal. What happens between sessions over coffee, lunch, or a gait retraining demo is often just as valuable as the talks themselves.

Who Should Definitely Be There

This summit is tailored for professionals working with runners:

  • Physical therapists seeking impactful CEUs and clinical tools

  • Athletic trainers wanting smart strategies to prevent injury and enhance recovery

  • Coaches & strength specialists curious about biomechanics, injury mechanics, and injury prevention

  • Sports medicine pros looking to connect with peers focused on runner-centered care

If you touch runners in your work, this summit gives you tools and inspiration to help them run better and stay healthy.
