Bio

Megan Miyawaki is a physical therapist with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University, graduating in December 2022. She specializes in dance-related injuries and promotes injury prevention for dancers to enhance their performance. In addition to her focus on dance, she has experience working with individuals diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and utilizes myofascial release techniques and dry needling to alleviate pain.

Megan’s approach to patient care emphasizes listening to her patients’ needs and concerns while personalizing their rehabilitation programs to help them build strength for specific hobbies and activities. Inspired by her own experiences as a dancer, she is dedicated to assisting others in achieving their goals and returning to the activities they love.

Outside of her professional life, Megan enjoys teaching dance, photography, golfing, and spending time with her family.
