Vanessa Alleruzzo, OTD, OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist that earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2018. With nearly 5 years dedicated to hand therapy out of her 7-year career, she specializes in the treatment of upper extremity and hand impairments, including distal radius fractures, hand trauma, tendon rehabilitation, soft tissue disorders, and nerve compression syndromes.
Vanessa’s approach to patient care centers on empowering recovery through education, collaboration, and compassionate care. She focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships and tailoring treatment to each individual’s goals, aiming to support their meaningful return to activities that enhance independence and quality of life. Her passion for Occupational Therapy stems from her desire to witness individuals thrive by regaining skills and confidence. As a Hand Therapist, she inspires clients to maximize their upper extremity function.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys sharing meals with family and friends, international travel, and spending time outdoors with her dogs. She stays active through snowboarding, yoga, and weight lifting, and enjoys relaxing with some light entertainment.
