Bio

Sydney Kalina is a physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Tufts University – Phoenix, graduating in 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University, awarded in 2021. She specializes in general orthopedics and return-to-sport rehabilitation, with a particular focus on treating ice sport athletes, including figure skaters and hockey players.

Sydney adopts a personable approach to patient care, working to understand her patients’ goals and creating personalized plans that empower them throughout their rehabilitation journeys. Her background as a lifelong athlete, with over 15 years in figure skating and 10 years in downhill ski racing, has fueled her passion for physical therapy and enhances her understanding of the physical and mental demands faced by high-level athletes.

In her free time, she enjoys participating in fitness classes like hot yoga and pilates, spending time with family and friends, and supporting sports teams such as the Utah Mammoth.
