Bio

Tony Holmes received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2015. He went on to earn his doctorate degree in physical therapy from the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, Provo, Utah in 2021. Tony first joined the Mountain Land team in 2015 as a therapy aide at the Millcreek clinic and then clinic coordinator at the Holladay clinic in 2016.

Tony specializes in orthopedic and has experience treating neurologic conditions. Fluent in speaking Spanish, Tony enjoys working with the Spanish-speaking community and believes in providing a caring and fun environment. His therapy philosophy is, “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” After injuring his hand when he was younger, he experienced the benefit of physical therapy and how he was able to regain the function of his hand. He wants to share his passion of helping people reach their goals so they can return to the activities they enjoy.

As a father of three, Tony spends his free time with his family either at the pool or taking them to their activities. Staying fit and eating well keeps him and his family busy. Tony also has a slight obsession with shoes. He says he has too many, but no one can have too many shoes!
