Pocatello - Golds (SPT)

Bio

Ryan Pope, PT, DPT began his physical therapy career in 2018 and brings a diverse clinical background shaped by experience in multiple orthopedic settings across the country. He is a Pocatello native, graduating from Highland High School and Idaho State University before earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University.

Ryan is trained in Diagnostic Ultrasound, allowing him to perform precise, real-time imaging to identify the root cause of pain and guide treatment with accuracy. He also provides dry needling, a targeted technique effective in reducing muscle tension, improving mobility, and accelerating recovery.

His treatment approach focuses on improving functional movement patterns, promoting efficient biomechanics, and helping patients return to meaningful activities with confidence. He integrates hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and movement retraining to address both pain and underlying dysfunction.

Ryan believes successful rehabilitation is built on consistent communication, patient education, and collaborative decision-making. He works closely with referring providers and empowers patients to take an active role in their care.
