Bio

Tyler Shumway earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Dixie State University and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has a strong interest in athletic rehabilitation, successfully treating a variety of patients and diagnoses, including neck and back pain, post-operative conditions, and sports injuries.

Ty’s approach to patient care emphasizes active listening and collaboration, allowing him to develop individualized treatment plans. He is committed to identifying and addressing the underlying causes of pain and movement limitations, focusing on restoring function and improving performance to help patients return to their preferred activities.

Ty’s background in sports, particularly his experience as a linebacker in high school football in Dallas, Texas, has greatly influenced his passion for strength training and rehabilitation for both athletes and non-athletes. Outside of his professional interests, he enjoys sports, exercise, and fishing.
