About the Twin Falls - Diagnostics (DS) Clinic

Diagnostic Solutions is a specialized clinic offering advanced diagnostic services such as Electromyography (EMG) testing and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSKUS) to aid in precise patient assessments.

Led by experienced professionals Bart McDonald, ECS; Ryker Spackman, ECS; and Jesse Peterson, D-EDX, the team has been conducting nerve conduction studies since 2015, following the rigorous standards set by the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM).

Through comprehensive muscle, joint, and nerve testing, Diagnostic Solutions helps healthcare providers diagnose conditions more effectively and develop targeted treatment plans.

For convenience, Diagnostic Solutions offers flexible scheduling and can perform diagnostic evaluations both in their facility and directly within a provider’s office, ensuring streamlined communication and timely, accurate diagnostic insights.

Featured Services

EMG and Nerve Conduction

Electromyography (EMG) is a diagnostic test used to evaluate muscle and nerve function by detecting signal transmission abnormalities. The procedure involves applying a small electrical current to the skin and inserting a needle electrode into the muscle to measure activity. While mild discomfort may occur, results help guide treatment plans for neuromuscular conditions.

Neurological

Neurological physical therapy is a specialized treatment designed to help individuals with neurological conditions regain motor skills, balance, and overall physical function. Using techniques such as strength exercises, balance training, and cognitive therapy, it aims to enhance mobility, independence, and quality of life. This therapy benefits those with conditions like stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injuries.

Somatosensory Evoked Potential Study (SSEP)

SSEP checks the ability of the spinal nerves and spinal cord to send sensory signals from the body to the brain. This test is often used for generalized disorders of the nervous system like multiple sclerosis.
