Bio

Tyler first joined the Mountain Land team in the spring of 2013 and has served as Sandy’s clinic director since 2015. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University in 2013 after receiving his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Utah State University in 2010.
Tyler has a strong background in health, fitness, and sports performance. While getting his bachelor’s degree he played collegiate sports, throwing the shot-put as a member of the university’s track and field team. This experience introduced him to physical therapy and led him to realize how beneficial it can be in improving performance and injury recovery. Tyler is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist and also has training in dry needling. Over the years, Tyler has developed an interest in treating patients with Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, vestibular dysfunction, and also in performing running and gait analyses and treating runners of all ages.
When not in the clinic, Tyler can be found outside hiking alongside his family and dogs, doing CrossFit, or grappling and rolling at jiu jitsu.
