Bio

Larissa is a proud alumna of Idaho State University, graduating from the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2009. With over 17 years of clinical experience, she has practiced in multiple states including Utah, California, Idaho, and Texas, gaining broad exposure across a variety of clinical settings.

She enjoys treating TMJ dysfunction, spinal disorders, and shoulder, hip, and knee injuries. Her background includes extensive experience in aquatic therapy and strength training, working with a wide range of populations—from pediatrics and preteens to aging adults, as well as minor league and professional athletes.

Larissa strongly believes that being told to “never do” a specific exercise again is often unnecessary. She emphasizes that strength training is key to longevity and functional independence, and that movement can usually be modified, rebuilt, and safely reintroduced rather than permanently avoided. Her approach focuses on education, progressive loading, and empowering patients to return to the activities they love.

Living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and having undergone multiple surgeries since childhood, Larissa brings a unique depth of empathy and understanding to her practice. Having experienced rehabilitation firsthand, she values patient-centered care and believes in the importance of both compassion and commitment throughout the recovery process.
