Sam Metz, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Sam earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Utah State University and went on to graduate with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. He started working for Mountain Land in 2016 as a Therapy Tech before returning back to school to complete his doctorate degree in physical therapy.
Sam specializes in orthopedics, post-surgical physical therapy, and treating sports injuries. He is passionate about helping athletes and runners return to the field. Sam is Sports and Integrative Dry Needling Credentialed through the Integrative Dry Needling Institute, with CIDN credentials behind his name. Additionally, he is specialized in concussion treatment for athletes and AIB certified in Vestibular and Concussion treatment through the American Institute of Balance. Sam also performs running and gait analysis for recreational to high endurance running athletes and works extensively with weightlifters, cross-fitters, and gym athletes to improve their function and capability in the gym.
When not in the clinic, Sam enjoys skiing, mountain biking, golfing, running, and spending time with his family.
