Bio

Michael Barton, PT, DPT, serves as the Clinic Director and graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 2022. He specializes in Sports Medicine, General Orthopedics, Vestibular Rehab, Concussion Therapy, Joint Replacement, Osteoarthritis, and Osteoporosis Prevention. Michael’s approach to patient care emphasizes listening to individuals and understanding their unique goals, whether they are professional athletes or individuals managing everyday activities with discomfort.

Michael’s extensive training includes sport-specific rehabilitation at The Mayo Clinic, where he worked with a wide range of athletes, and experience at Craig Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital, focusing on Neuromuscular Rehabilitation. He has spent over ten years in healthcare and has a background in teaching human physiology and anatomy, which has deepened his passion for educating others about the human body.

In his free time, Michael enjoys outdoor activities such as fly fishing, skiing, cycling, and trail running. He is also an avid wildlife photographer and has been published by the Great Salt Lake Audubon Society. Michael plans to pursue his Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) certification in the coming year.
